Live Poker Spew

Hello everyone,

Sundays are extremely lucrative to grind, where all the fishes come out.

So after those 2 big wins, I took a short nap and decided to take a shot at the $215 Sunday Million ( $5 million guaranteed). As in, it's a tournament and anyone can win it right, and the first prize ( ~$500,000) can truly be life changing. So I opened up some satellites and starting grinding. Was in the FT for 2 of the 8.80turbo. Cashed a little for one, and bubbled the entry for the another. There was another massive satellite where there's 1000 seats guaranteed. I had quite a nice stack and planned to fold my way into the money. However, I had AKs in the BB, and the button shoves when he was like 4bb deep and I had 10bb. He opened AQ and of course, I lost. So that concludes my Sunday grind.

Monday

So my friend decided to host a friendly 1/1 non-raked game. So I decided not to grind online for today and play some LIVEEEEE POKERRRRRR. Hmmm, generally it was just a bad night. Made a number of bad calls + running bad. Live poker is a totally different ballgame from online MTT/SNG. I find that I've been opening too much preflop, but my postflop play still needs some work. So I donked away $400 that night.

What a bummer! Was finally in the black, and was looking to go north all the way. Now I'm in the red and that feeling sucks. However, I'm a fighter and I will grind it back.

On a side note, I got a second monitor so I can probably do more tables now. Will be trying around 8-10, and move up to 12 when i'm more comfortable. This is picture of my grind station!

Yup, will be watching some pocketfives training videos, some starcraft and I'll start my grind at about 8pm later. I am thinking of discussing some of the interesting hands that I encountered, or if you all have anything to talk about poker please feel free to leave a comment!

GL at the tables everyone~
